The Dorridge and District Residents Association was formed in 1961.
The Association has no political or religious affiliation. The Objective of the Association is: "The protection and furtherance of the interests of the Residents of Dorridge and District and the preservation and improvement of amenities of the Area"
There are 15 committee members and a smaller admin. committee which meet on a quarterly basis.
We encourage local residents to join us and are looking to ensure all sections of our community are represented.
One of its early activities was to raise funds for the Dorridge Village Hall, which was where Dorridge Day originated from, though now that is run as a charity event by K & D Round Table.
Contacts
All the committee members will be pleased to accept your calls or emails. If you are not sure who to call, we can always pass on the message to the correct committee member.
Of course, your official representative locally is your Councillor. See the links section for current contact details of the Dorridge & Hockely Heath Councillors.
We have two general email addresses for you to use: dorridgeresidents@googlemail.com for general contacts, and planning@dorridge.org.uk for issues related to planning.

We hope that this site not only represents the views of the DDRA but also the local residents. Clearly there will be times that people hold different views, and DDRA will seek to assist all the residents if that is consistent with our stated aims. If you have any concerns please contact us, whether it be to criticise, correct or encourage.
