Do you worry that you might not get an appointment with your doctor when you really need one? Do you wonder if your GP Surgery manages the appointments booking service in the best way possible? If this subject concerns you, then you can attend a meeting organised by Healthwatch Solihull on Thursday 16 March from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, at Solihull Moors stadium on Damson Parkway to discuss the GP appointments system and give your views. As well as the opportunity to share your experiences, this public meeting will give you the chance to hear from local medical professionals including Dr Susan Harrower, Coventry Road Practice, Sheldon and Tony Green from the Patient Participation Group Network.
If you are unable to attend the meeting on 16 March, you can still take part in the Access to GP Appointments in Solihull survey. The questionnaire has been created to review patients’ experiences in accessing health services through their doctor’s surgery. You can find a link to the survey at http://healthwatchsolihull.org.uk/event/spotlight-on-gp-appointments/ or call us on 0121 704 7861 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a copy of the survey to complete.
Please let Healthwatch Solihull know if you are able to come to the meeting by using the booking form at the above link or calling us on 0121 704 7861 between 10am – 3pm to register your interest.
